Description

If the hawks really want Panarin back they need a little more flexibility. So my thought is they get Seabrook to waive his no trade and agree to be dealt to the Devils along with DeBrincat. In return Chicago gets much needed center depth in Zacha and a good D man in Severson with term at a good cost with room to grow. Threw in a second to sweeten the deal. Devils get a veteran on the back end and a perfect winger for Hall and Hischier

Absolutely horrible Idea for Jersey. Seabrook has at MOST 1-2 seasons of being a competent NHL player. No GM in their right mind is going to touch that contract

I feel they can take on a bad contract to get a great winger in DeBrincat. Devils have Depth at Center with McLeod , Boqvist ,Speers etc. Right wing? They need help.

I appreciate your thinking. Sadly however, of all the NMC guys on the Hawks, Seabrook is the least likely to waive his.

Yeah, it's a decent thought. Debrincat is a stud. Seabrook does cost too much, but can still play hockey for the next few years. He's not waiving that FULL NMC though.
