traded away Marleau to Calgary cause Marleau took too much space and i felt like calgary was the right place because cagary is somewhat near his hometown and also the flames will benefit with him in their lineup (experience wise)

You understand that Marleau has a NTC and can block this trade. Many people have him going to SJS but I really doubt he accepts Calgary.

I wouldn't expect a return on Marleau. At least nothing of significance. He's 38, I know he still put up decent numbers last year, but he's 38 and that contract goes till he's 40. Send him out for a bag of pucks and be done with it.

Stop this wishful Marleau trading. His goal is win the Cup in his final two years in the NHL and likely much better opportunity with the Leafs.
