I think we are done making moves for right now. That means no Skinner.

I feel like we are too. But we really need a top 6 winger.

I think the value is there for the trade. With that said...at this point I'd rather keep those assets and not get a rental at all. Next year there are decent number of wingers coming on the market. I expect @Stan_Bowman to make smaller efficient moves for future assets. Maybe Rutta goes...kunitz if a contender wants experience...ward if another teams goalie goes down. Stuff like that. Also I expect a heavy forward draft next year and they don't take as long to develop.

I feel like we need a couple things, however I have an even stronger feeling that we are aiming not for this season, but the seasons after.

Yeah I agree with you as well. I felt like I would get a 0/5 stars though if I didn’t make a move in this one. I mean our depth at forward is horrible.

I don't think we need to make any more trades until the deadline. Send of a guy like Rutta at the deadline for maybe a 3rd rounder... possibly a conditional 2nd. Bowman may also try and find trade partners to dump Murphy and Anisimov, although that is unlikely. I think the hawks need to stand pat until the deadline and then use our lottery pick to draft an elite forward as our first rounder will very likely be a top 10 pick.
