C position is so deep that there are a bunch of guys that could compete to be in that spot. (Also leafs fan here so no Matthews so that there is no bias) Left handed defense are not the best crop, so thats why Morgan Reilly makes it (52 pts in 70 gp)

i would probably have Quick as a top 5 goalie, looking at that list though it is very hard to bump anyone for him...

Schwartz should be on that list with what he did last year.

I don't think OEL and Rielly are Top 4 guys as LD in the league.

Giordano is better than both, for example. Sure OEL has a couple more points over the past 3 years, but Giordano is a markedly better defenceman by all non-counting metrics (possession, etc.)

I think I'd prefer to have Klingberg of Subban on that right side as well....easy to argue for both players.

Pastrnak over Tarasenko. Suter over Rielly.

Goalies: I wouldn't rank Price as #1 these days.

Holtby belongs on that list. 124 wins over the past 3 seasons (next best is 107: Dubnyk/Rinne). And, Holtby's SV% of 0.918 is Top 10 over the span.

Geez, I'd actually drop Price from that list based on recent years. Luongo has been better!

Luongo: 132 starts, 70 wins, 0.922 SV%, 8 shutouts
Price: 122 starts, 63 wins, 0.915 SV%, 6 shutouts

I think you'd have to have the following guys: Holtby, Bobrovsky, Rinne, Fleury/Quick.

I hate to say it but Tavares is better than Kopitar and Bergeron and Mackinnon has had one good season so I think he can’t be on the list unless he can consistently replicate what he did last season

I really like Giroux, but he before last year he had a few off years. If he has another good year I would put him on the list for sure.

I agree Mackinnon has to do it again, but it wasnt just a good year, it was a Hart nomination year. He carried that team pretty much all by himself.

Ya Price is not #1 based on the last 2 seasons, but i am personally giving him 1 more year to snap out of it. I just think he is the only goalie i have seen able to carry a dumpster fire of a team to the playoffs like he did.

Bergeron shouldn't even be a blip on the charts for Centers. The fact you don't include Laine at RW is a gross oversight and I wouldn't include Rinne as a top goalie but all those of course can be argued.. just my opinion on things.

Bergeron is a constant Selke winner (not nominee.. winner). Laine is a good goal scorer and will 100% make my lists probably either next year or the one after, but he doesnt seem to have much defensive awareness. i know that statement is ironic considering i have kessel there, but imo kessel has better playmaking ability compared to laine(kessel had 92pts last year) Rinne literally just won the vezina so thats why hes on the list, i wouldnt have him on here if he didnt have such a good year.

the only thing I would question is no fleury or holtby for the goalies(although its tough to say who one of them should jump to be fair), maybe not having laine on there, maybe would put kucherov ahead of kane based on the recent past.

goalies were a crap shoot for me. rarely are there any goalies that are so consistent that they are a clear top 5. Kane over Kuch was tough, but kane just a down year so i gave him the benefit of the doubt, Kucherov looks like he could be the top RW in the league for the next few years tho.
