I'm very happy with all these trades. Only critisism is Carolina don't need anymore D men. Guys like McKeown and Carrick are NHL ready and Jon Merril just takes up a spot for no reason

I think its an overpayment with Dallas but to dump Rask's cap and get someone who has top 6 potential, I'm very okay with. Maybe Gauthier could be replaced with a lesser prospect but it's not really a big deal

Great trades! We’ve already agreed on the VGK trade so, I think the Stall trade is perfect for the Canes since you get an impact top6 forward that you can resign with a reasonable AAV with that 15mil cap space. I also think the Faksa trade is good, but the Stars might want more. Overall, the future looks very bright for Carolina and they should definitely be in the playoff race this season!
