Mark Stone would be dumb to sign anything longer then a 2 year deal at this point. that may even be 1 year to many

Don't think Tampa has any motivation to make that deal. And certainly Vegas doesn't. Another post where it doesn't show the fathom Karlsson resigning and how to fits into the Tampa roster in 2019/20.

If Tampa finds a way to make room for Karlsson, you won't be getting Gourde and Sergachev. Only one of them

Thats too big of a package for Karlsson. his value should be lower than that since he has shown no interest in resigning with ottawa

If OTT is truly in rebuild mode and they want picks and prospects, then the best move would be to package Karlsson and Duchene and include dumping Ryan's salary to get a max value in return. The problem is, who's going to take on $25M worth of contracts? $11M (Karlsson re-sign), $7m (Duchene) and $7.2M (Ryan) But if they can pull it off with a team, they'd be looking at something to the tune of 2 first round picks, a couple strong prospects, and a couple role players that the other team needs to move to take on $25M worth of cap and OTT would be in a decent position to become a solid contender in 3+ years.

That said, these big deals rarely if ever happen given the cap era.
