there is no point in this team giving up the future to make the playoffs, they aren't a real contender at the moment. Best to build.

No way in hell im giving up Asplund for Pacioretty, and your trading a top 2, possibly top pair LHD for a 3rd. That’s horrible

You really think Patches and Brodin will be the difference makers for the Sabres to make the playoffs? Certainly didn't help in Montreal and Calgary last year
