If he did allude to it he probably meant that they CAN not that they will. It would definitely be interesting to see, especially in the playoffs. 7-11 isn’t a system that can be used long term.

Run 3 centre’s more ice for them. Not much more ice time really. Our 4th line will most likely not see a lot of ice. Is it a fun thought experiment? Yes... will it happen? No...

Some coaches have used it in recent seasons. I only noticed it in the playoffs. But i also don’t watch all the regular season games, so who knows? ??‍♂️

The other benefit is being able to rest hainsey while getting some of our prospects nhl experience. I would imagine in this scenario hainsey is primarily killing penalties
