Cup in 2019-2020 (realistic) thoughts?

Created by: CaptainClutch
Team: 2019-20 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Aug. 7, 2018
Published: Aug. 7, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I think Sikura will put up 40-50 points in 18-19 season and schmaltz and debrincat about 60 points. Jokiharju will take his spot as a 1st pairing d man with keith and will only improve. Ian mitchell will be will butcher 2.0. Panarin wants to come back to chicago. Now we have three very good lines and fourth is a tough one to play against.

Cup might a bit of a stretch but overall like the direction here, I really think Sikura and Schamltz are going to be guys who really surprise a lot of people this year. I would stay as far away from Sbisa as possible he hasn't looked good at all and doesn't come anywhere close to getting 3mil in my opinion. Overall, pretty solid.

Yeah, my intention with sbisa was to have an experienced stay at home d man. I think defense needs that kind of guy to succeed. But if Sbisa, then hawks should find someone like hammer when he was at his best. Easier said than done but u got what i meant.

For sure agree about getting a solid stay at home d-man, just don't think Sbisa should be that guy.

^This is absolutely and glaringly correct.

Beyond that, if Sikura puts up 50 points, he'll be looking for more than 3 per. And Sbisa sucks, you're FAR better off keeping Murphy over him. Something else has to be done with that D though...

There's a plan (nice one at that) that is based on a big 'if': Panarin wants (really really) to resign with the Hawks, and no one else...

Panarin wants a big US coastal city not Chicago, And that's maybe a playoff team but not a cup team.
