Not a bad trade with the Canucks. I’d prefer Van keeps Pouliot and ships out DelZotto or Hutton, but they do have more Dmen than they need.

Kevan miller is a little underrated so if it would be good for edmonton tobpick him up

I don't think BOS would move Miller for that offer. Good guy to target though.

But....I'm also having a tough time seeing how beefing up the bottom pairing is "Fixing the Defense" in EDM. Sekera was the #2-3 guy on that blueline. Russell and Benning as a 2nd pairing is one of the most exposed Top 4 pairings in the West, if not in the league.

The defense still looks weak because he didn't sign Darnell Nurse.

Nah, Nurse is on there in the top pair at $5M with Larsson...?

He wasn't when I made that comment. And the Habs trade is new too - and not something I support.
