No place for them in lineup (Swedish Threesome (Olofsson-Asplund-Nylander) inserted in) and I doubt that anybody would pick them up..

I think all of those guys are very very tradeable. And it's not like the team is in cap trouble right away, so just send them to the minors and don't create an unnecessary cap hit for future years like this would.

i edited my comment, because the reason being for all of this is that you don't want to tack on an unnecessary cap hit down the road. if they can't be traded, just send them to the minors....the cap is still in tact, and you save money for when it comes time to sign Dahlin etc.

Duchene will get at least 7.5 as a UFA, probably closer to 8.

    Why trade sheary

Why 1 star for trading a guy that has better chance of making team somewhere else than in Buffalo where there are 12 better players? Sheary is product of Crosby and when put out of his wing he sucked, thats why he was traded along with Hunwick for 4th rounder..

I know that, just gave the minimum number of what he would surely get.

Its because they needed cap space. And sheary produced whether he was with or without sid. And what is Reinhart? Guy can't produce unless he's with Eichel. I'd rate you 1 star again if i could

You are basically telling me that Sheary is better than Reinhart? Are you nuts? Sheary is 4th liner who fitted perfectly with Sid. They got him off his wing he sucked. If he is so great why they didnt trade Hagelin who has higher cap hit? Good gosh gracious.. 1 star for trading player you like. So basically you are going to be getting 1 stars to anyone who traded your favourite player? LMAO

No one star for being completely wrong about a lineup. I didn't say Sheary is better than Reinhart, I was just using you're analysis of Sheary for Reinhart. Sabres tried to put him at center by himself and he had the worst stretch of games in his career. And why would the sabres trade for Hagelin when they got a younger more productive player in Sheary. Sheary and Reinhart are both complimentary players that play well with good centers. And saying that Sheary isn't good enough to fit in the top 12 but a guy like Nylander fits. Nylander (I am not saying he is a bust) hasn't even put up good number in the AHL. Lastly Sheary is not my favorite player, I just think he's a good fit with the sabres over some of the guys you shoved into the line up.
