Yeah, but Nurse, even though #7 overall (as I recall), hasn't panned out to be the force that Hampus Lindholm (#5) or Cam Fowler (#12) have been, so I don't think you need to overpay THAT much.

Great call, yeah I think you give up too much, but objectively if it comes down to the roster and we take away Jake and Brown, add Nurse, that's a better team. I really wonder if before expansion Dubas really tries to get Babcock to use Brown and make him look Valuable. If you look at what he did with McDavid, Edmonton could potentially go after that alone, plus he has a great number, 2.1 for a 20 goal scorer, extremely valuable, especially at a team so hurting on the wing and in cap trouble. It seems to make a boat load of sense.

Well I'm not just aquiring him I'm aquiring Bear (a decent prospect and Kassian a decent 4th liner that can play 3rd if desperate enough.

Exactly if I was being honest I'd take out Bear from them and take away Timashov, Carrick and at least 1/2 of the picks leaving the 1st, 3rd, 2 7th.
