Why are people still on this Seguin/BOS thing? The guy is not coming back here. In interviews when asked about going back to Boston, he said he wouldn't.

To be fair, Seguin said that back in 2013. While Neely is still here, Chiarelli and Claude are both gone. Yes, the chances he returns are slim to none, but I can't go off something he said 5-6 years ago as a reason for it. Bruins may very well go after him if he does reach UFA. They did target Tavares. He is still friends with Marchand. Who knows at this point.

That said, this is going to be annoying because it's already starting now, and the season hasn't even started yet lol.... Seguin to Boston mocks are already overdone. haha

I just don't see it. Two of the biggest critics of Seguin are still here in Neely and Bradley. I know Sweeney really liked Seguin, but it would take an over payment from Boston to get Seugin to come here. I also don't put much stock in the friends with Marchand stuff. They were friends, but its not like they are inseparable and spend every moment together.

Would I love to have Seguin back in Boston? 100%, so maybe my pessimistic attitude is just me trying not to get my hopes up.

Has the same chance coming back to Boston than anywhere else. I don't know why everyone thinks it is impossible.

See my comments in this thread. There are still two key people that were the driving force behind trading Seguin. Bradley even questioned if Seguin fit the Bruins culture and the management team (while not specifically naming him) compared Seguin to Kessel in saying that he relied all on his skill.

Because Boston does not want him and he does not want Boston. He destroyed that team when i slept with Hortons wife. There is still animosity in the front office and the locker room.

Let it go.
