Well after you figure in killorns NTC, points underpayment and the over inflated cap. You are somewhere in the neighbourhood of 7-8m over the cap.

I think Killorn could waive his NTC for Preds, they're one of the frontrunners in the league. And Point is pretty much on the line with other star players such as Pastrnak.

Don’t see why he would waive to leave Tampa but it isn’t impossible. You do understand that they can only ask him to waive right?

Also the pastrnak deal was 9% so you are looking at about 7.5m on your new cap. Plus the fact that point already signed a bridge and proved himself, it’s time to pay.

What if he keeps progressing and puts up kucherov and seguin type numbers. Playing on a line with seguin and stamkos it is possible.

Huh? Point hasn't signed any bridge deal. He's still on his ELC. He could be signed now to a 3-year bridge deal, like Kucherov and many others did.

Yup sorry my bad. You could bridge deal for somewhere around 5m but that could turn into a ticking bomb too. Maybe bridge him long enough to get out of some ntc.

Oh I see he had an entry level slide thought he was on a small bridge deal already. Should pay more attention lol.

Vasilevskiy's contract can be made by adding the Strålman's salary to the base salary it has now. With Sergachev, the team could go for a bridge deal that gives him around $3,5M for 2-3 years. They can manage,

I don't see why the Preds would want Killhorn. But with this roster, you have no high priced players leaving at the end of the season. 2019/20 to pay for the big pay increase that the Tampa will be need for their players coming off ELC or their next RFA contract. Fact is Tampa doesn't need Sequin at all.

Killorn is probably not movable until 20-21 when it becomes a modified-NTC, a 16-team list that he can be traded to. Callahan’s has already become a modified-NTC, so he’s probably more likely to be moved if they are willing to add an asset to him. His actual salary is less than his cap hit too, but he has not been asked to waive.
