This is good! The kid who should go first overal in 2020 is a center, Lafreniere a center from Qubebec. I know Ootawa wont get Hughes, but a second bad year would get this kid. I think they purge at the deadline this year and then gun for last in 19-20.

I'm a Leafs fan, last place can pay off!

Lafreniere is a winger. Even so, you need at least one decent player.

Laf did play wing this year with Rimouski but he can absolutely play center.

What really gets me stirred up about the incompetence of Dorian is that the SJ 1st round pick will fall near the end, around 25-31.

You can’t tell me they didn’t have 1 bottom 10-12 team willing to give up their 1st round pick for Karlsson who wasn’t on his no trade list....NYI, Montreal, Detroit, Vancouver, Phoenix, Buffalo?

Most likely those teams wouldn't have wanted him without an extension; an extension he wouldn't be willing to sign.
