This a pure yikes from me, lines are messed up, and Faulk is pretty much Justin Schultz when he played for the Oilers. There is literally no use for Faulk, when Bouchard is ready. So in reality it’s Necas and a 3rd for a 70pt line centre, which would be a hard pass (regardless of how good of a prospect Neca’s is).

Throw in Jesse puljujarvi and it would be even. Necas is a top 15 prospect and the 3rd could then be moved to a second

I don't see Draisaitl going anywhere. Him and McJesus are the core of EDM top6 for years to come.

What are you smoking? Oilers arent getting fair value to begin with and you want them to add more

Necas is a top 15 prospect. Faulk would be the best d man on the oilers. That is the value they get with them alone.

Draistatl scored 25 goals on a line with McDavid which means that is going down next year. Puljujarvi scores 12 goals last year and had 8 assists in 65 games. Those stats are comparable to deryk Ryan last year. So what if they were both top three draft picks, that doesn’t mean anything except that they were good prospects.

There is also one huge factor your missing. The hurricanes would be taking four million dollars off of the oilers shoulders. That mean they could give contract extensions to both of their goalies instead of other teams with money offering them contracts. This trade would give the oilers their goalies for a few more years, Faulk, a third round pick, and necas. This trade is pretty even.

This trade isn't even close. Faulk would give an offensive lift but he would still be third pairing maybe second if Benning doesn't improve. But overall he would be the fifth best d maybe.

Leon is a top center in the league. You must be on Co-cane
