Moreover, with Scherbak on waivers and McCarron already in the minors, you kinda need an extra forward. Knowing that, and knowing Dowd's contract, would that rekindle your interest (if Scherbak clears)?

I'd like to say yes, but I need picks for rentals, or what's the point of the cap space?
How about I swap you 6th rounders? Since I don't care where in the round the pick is, and mine will definitely be better than Tampa's.
