rikkola might end up as the 8th d man as the callup in WBS if somebody here gets injured. Since no other guys can be sent down he is the easiest to send down. Gives him more time to get acclimated as well.

Its crazy how every aspect of Riikola's game has looked great and how we continue to find this young talent every year, even when we trade all our picks and prospects away.
I really cant get over how well he's adjusted to the smaller rinks and I dont see a way the Pens can keep him out of the top 6 this year.

I agree with u but I just dont kno how he isnt in top 6 by or after deadline day.... every part of his game has impressed the s**t out of me

Leave it to Pens fans to go berserk over a play because a couple preseason games. I remember last season, after ONE regular season game someone on here had GMA titled "Greg McKegg Might Be A Diamond In The Rough" because he had 1 assist.

LOL, I guess ur talking about Riikola? But seriously tho, the kid is really good... we have some good reporters here in PIT and they are not afraid to call out players or be critical of players here. And like no joke, every reporter at PIT camp talk about how good he is every day. Ive watched all 4 pre season games and I cant get over how good he is in every aspect of his game.
