Not a CBJ fan but just wondering, what happens to this core when Jones gets back then? Nuti to the left? Savard as a dump at some point?

Absolutely. Nutivaara is very comfortable on his off side, the right side. Jones, Faulk, and Nutivaara on the right, and Clendening as the 4th (he impressed in camp). Werenski Kukan and Murray on the left, with Harrington or Prapavessas as the 4th. Hold Savard for a part of the season, trade Murray (injury prone) or Savard (cap dump) later in season if needed, to replenish draft picks.

So what happens to Nuti's growth then (as he is being buried)? From what I understand he is CBJ's version of Travis Dermott, but a year ahead.

He can play up or down the lineup, 1st, 2nd, 3rd pair, and left or right. Very versatile. Not to mention he shows signs of being fully functional/developed. I think the goal, regardless of where he plays, is to have the depth to roll 4 forward lines evenly (which the Jackets started to do the last couple of years). They are just now getting the defensive depth to roll 3 D pairs evenly. So many years past Jack Johnson or their other top pair D man had to log 25-28 minutes a night, night after night.
They will be much better, fresher, and competitive late in games with their D depth, especially if they were to add Faulk to the mix.

My understanding is that Anderson is a RW, which is just what Carolina needs. They have 7 (seven!) LW's on their roster plus Svechnikov, who is a left-handed shot drafted as a RW. They wouldn't need a LW.
