well.. no. Nylander is sticking at 8m per year-- i doubt he settles for 7.2. then you give marner 8.8.. just sign them both to 8m/yr deals, an extension can be worked out with marner now, if you get him at 8 mill offer the same to nylander

Ozhiganov is going to get more and Holl shouldn't be in the Leaf. Still you have paid Nylander to an undeserving 7.2m...too high. Of course so many say "He wants 8m, which is absolutely meaningless.

exactly my point here, one guy says 7.2 is way too high, the other says sign Marner and Nylander to 8M. Also Marner isn't gonna be signing an extension until the end of this year, he will bet on himself 100%. I think he could get more than what i paid him on here.

Let's be honest boys. William Nylander made it very clear that he "has to look out for himself" and apparently that means no less that 7.5 million. Obviously, he's not Patrice Bergeron. He does not deserve 8 million +. I'd say a good deal for him and the Leafs is 6 million -6.75 million. Dubas wants that. Marner seems like the kind of guy who is willing to take less money to stay a Leaf. Matthews is gonna want MONEY though. He'll get a Connor McDvaid type deal.
