Lucic looks competent out there, not quite worth 6 million but looks a lot better. wouldn't be surprised by 20 goals 40-50 points.

Actually, these trades are pretty fair, realistically however Peter Chiarelli wouldn't let Jesse walk for just that. other than that, not bad.

Ceci is way worse than Strome, like way worse. He's pretty much at an AHL top pair level.

the old trade Justin S for a 3rd to Pitt then trade him back to the Oilers for a 25-31 pick and a 20 year old 4th overall pick.
that sounds like a chai trade.

I'm into the Ceci deal though!

Don't see anyone taking that Russell contract though. It's similar to the Alzner contract in Montreal. Even at $2.75 for the next 3 years, he's still being overpaid. I doubt he makes the top 6 in Vegas, and for them to pay him that to sit in the press box? Nah. You have to give up something else to get them to bite.
