Nylander and Hertl are fairly similar. Nylander is better but Braun and a 2nd for Marincin? Better? No.

But they would consider it anyway.

Swap Hertl for Donskoi or Melker K or both of them and take the 2nd out and upgrade Marincin a bit. Get a better response from them

If not take the 2nd out.

San Jose doesn't need to make the trade. TOR does.

I'm not sure why San Jose adds a second. Nylander > Hertl. Braun > Marincin. Seems fairly even without the pick. Plus, Hertl has a great cap hit for what he brings as does Braun. Nylander will want a 8x8, which I don't blame him.

Another question, does TOR have enough to sign Marner and Matthews long term if they commit this amount to the cap?
