Description
With Schultz out, how much do you think TVR would cost?
I think he’d be a good option at RHD. Carolina has 4 RHD and He should be the most expendable.

I was thinking a 2nd round pick. What do you guys think?

can't afford him when schultz comes back. Riikola is going to be the 6th d man. pens just need a decent 7th-8th d man with a low cap hit

i'm optimistic on johnson tbh. if schultz, daley, ect can thrive with the penguins, theres no reason JJ can't

Still, I think TVR would be a great add to our team. He’s very underrated

And which of our players you'd trade when Schultz comes back?

Hags or Sheehan? Seem like they’re the most expendable

Well, this is why I like my trade idea. Myers/Perreault (with some salary retaining) for Hags/Maatta. We would have no cap issue in my scenario and we'll have a very good two-way d-man. We could re-sign him and trade Schultz, after this season, if it's necessary.

I guess the only issue with that is (like you said) he’s a pending UFA, and we’re still out a D as we lose maatta. Times like these I wish GMJR didn’t sign Johnson as then we could potentially have re signed Myers

We'd have to guarantee, before the trade, that Myers would re-sign. Then it'd worth the shot.

Yeah. And we knew it'd when the rumours started. It's probably the worst move made by JR.

And guess what...Sheary is having a good start in Buffalo. I'm pretty sure he'll score at least 20 goals, if he stays healthy.
