Sully doesn't play sprong because he is almost useless and lazy on defense and the back check. the kid only has one zone and that's the offensive one.

That's actually not the case, contrary to everyone'e opinion Sprong has improved defensively. He's looked a little akward in trying to acclimate offensively to the NHL game. And he's a RW. Look at whos in front of him, and ask yourself, who would you play Sprong over? Rust? Hornqvist? Kessel?

He's only on the roster because of his waiver eligibility. He's not ready for the NHL.

have you watched the games he is beyond bad defensively. there is a reason sully doesnt play him much at the end of close games.
