Nylander to the Rangers makes more sense than Flames form this Dubas was watch that game rumour trade talk.
Especially since Rangers sent 2 scouts to the Leafs game the day before.

Yeah, that's fair. Flames operate under the assumption no one makes more than Johnny and Mark, so I was using that internal number.

Interesting. Leafs and Flames have scouted each other, as have Rangers and Leafs, so it made sense for both teams to be looking at each other. Flames more because they have 4 NHL caliber right handed D men, and when Hamonic comes back something has to give, and less looking at a guy like Nylander. I tried to combine both into a solution (move a righty D and get a scoring winger back)

Rasmus Andersson instead of Brodie and a deal could happen.

Teams always scout one another, since they play one another on the 29th. Doesnt mean scouting is for a trade, thats probably just standard pro scouting getting ready for the upcoming game

Whats interesting is that the Rangers have sent multiple scouts to leafs games, thats not the norm, which makes it intersting

Brodie, Hamonic and Stone all come up at the same time contract wise, so moving Andersson is a problem, as they could find themselves short four d men in a hurry.

Huh?

The guy is saying Leafs were scouting the Flames. I said that it makes more Sense that Dubas was looking at the Rangers the other day and since the Rangers sent 2 scouts to the Leafs game the other day. Hence the Nylander Rangers comment
.
He mentioned that Leafs and Flames have been scouting ones nother and I mentioned that probably just normal pro scouting of each team bc they play each other in the next couple days and chances are not trade related

Pretty clear to follow along

***Nylander is NOT presently playing for the leafs is what I meant to say. Meaning, if the Rangers sent scouts to the leafs game... there would be no Nylander for them to see.

Deal doesnt have to be Nylander alone, depending on who is coming back from the Rangers.
