laugh laugh Myers cap hit is $5.5 million per right now, And you honestly believe he will take less to play in Toronto on the open market. Get real tons of teams will offer him more then $3.7 million per.

it is up to the jets to sign Myers. Myers has to want to sign with jets too. jets really don't have cap to sign him next year. that doesn't mean they should trade him this year as they need him for a hopefully long cup run. a five year contract seems too long for any team to sign him. he's a bare # 2, he's taking a less money if he wants to be an nhler. he's not that mobile now, and that can go very quickly too. see alzner.

buddy. did u see myers in last years playoffs? he was gooood. not excellent, but good. alzner is a really radical comparison, because myers is a pmd. idk why ppl crap on him soo much. he's a decent dman. pretty sure he'll get good money on the market. how many teams would want a 6'8 RHD Pmd.? i can tell u right now, a lot of teams would want him. hey, he from texas, dallas would pay good money to him.

yes, I see myers often. I'm a jets fan from Saskatchewan. just my thought he isn't going to stand up to a fast paced league.

Any team that signs Myers for more than 4 mil is getting shafted... And I think the leafs have more money then Winnipeg has to offer him.

Most likely situation is that he doesn't sign with either team, I just wanted to see the max we'd be able to pay him.

He'll be a FA. So, I'm sure he'll get more than 4M and probably something about or even more than 5. Don't be surprised with that coming...

what u need to understand is that he's a 6'8 dman who can score. he's a pmd and right shot. thats golddd in this league. how many teams covet a 6'8 d man. their reach is amazing. he'll easily make 5plus in FA.
