Lots of people on here send Fleury to Calgary, but Carolina makes a lot of sense. However, I feel Carolina is getting the shafted on this deal. Perhaps PIT would be better off taking the 13th overall pick and a couple prospects as opposed to Lack and Skinner, it would give the Pens about 8 mill of cap space heading into the offseason

Seems like a lot for Carolina to give up. Maybe the Canes should just sign a UFA, or wait to "expansion summer" when more goalies will likely be available.
One reason the Pens would trade 5 m Fleury is to get cap relief. As suggested by JQuick, prospects (the Canes for example have Dmen) might be the better long term benefit to the Pens.
