He’s injured. And likely need to adjust his game to the nhl.

Best player here is Gards. Timmins is a nice prospect. Zadorov is terrible but can play a bottom pair with sheltered minutes. Rosen is more mature prospect that needs somewhere to play.

Gardiner is a rental and Rosen is worth a lot more to the leafs than his trade value. Timmins is a great prospect would love to have him on the leafs but you better be moving a player like sandin or liljegren to get him.

Would we not be better off keeping Rosen and gardiner? Especially when avs are not giving up Timmins in that package.

He’s back on the ice skating again, shouldn’t be much longer till he is in the lineup. I would say that he cracks the leafs lineup with ease. Although Babs loves hainsey. This is why Holl will never be an nhlr.

Zadorov is terrible? NHL hit leader, a good skater, who can kill PKs and is decently sound defensively? Do you just make up things to fit your narrative at how bad this trade is. He probably would be the 3rd bestDman on the leafs. You can argue that him and Zaitsev are very simliar with IMO the nod going to Zads since heis young, more phyical, and has more offensive potential

Not exactly trolling. Gards is a huge upgrade for Colorado. Yes he’s a pending ufa for the value is lower. Timmins is a good prospect. Like sandin and Lilypad. None are nhl ready but probably not to far off. If you like zadorov just keep him. I really liked him when he was drafted. He’s hasnt panned out. He’s a bottom pairing stay at home (see not very good but physical) Dman.

Timmins is listed as one of the Top 50 Prospects by multiple of prospect sites. Avs are not trading him for a flawed dman who is a pending UFA like Gards. This does nothing for the Avs. Possible makes them worse now and into the future

Zads is a top 4 Dman, getting 2nd pairing minutes and is a physical force while not being a defensive liability. You call him terrible and bottom pairing yet that is not true, You are just making stuff up and not even bothering to pull up the stats.

WHen everyone in this thread is saying this is a terrible trade that gives leafs fans a bad name with how homerish they are....maybe you might have to reevaluate this one

Go look up some Zadorov stats. He’s a top 4 guy like polak was. He’s not very good but like I said I did like him before so he can still figure it out. Gards has had some of the better advanced stats in the league and has put up points. So trading a real top 4 D and an older prospect or good young (non star) prospect is likely an overpayment. Just facts.

Put it another way. Would you trade Barrie for Sean Durzi?
Late 20s top 4 D for a 2nd round D prospect?

Its not facts, you are making things up to justify your own idea. You are the only one who thinks that who have commented in this thread and that's includes Leafs Fans. Its a terrible trade so you can admit you missed on this one.

A non star prospect. What makes you say that? Bc you just want to put on that label on it to justify your idea even though that multiple paid individuals who scout/rank/project prospects have him ranked in the Top 50 prospects not in the NHL right and is considered a better in some or just behind in rankings of Timothy Liljegren.

So in your logic is Liljegren a non star prospect as well?
