I am guessing Stralman is on his last (big) contract. Someone will pay him 5m+ for 2-4 years.

I just don’t think he’s worth that much. There might be a team that might overpay. I certainly hope not, but it also wouldn’t shock me. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him take a discount to stay though like all the players seem to be doing. If he does leave in the off-season, it’d mean time for Cal Foote to come up regardless of development I think. Which would save money for other players.

For all we know, this could be a sign and trade. I don’t think his NTC kicks in until July 1st, so could be moved to a different team for a player, prospects, picks, etc.

You'll have around two million more to spend due to a cap rise, so I'd add two more to the Point contract. He deserves it.
