I don't get why the Leafs would want to take on that kind of player, cap hit or term. Lucic has his value, but he is way to slow to keep up with the Leafs current systems. If anything, the Leafs deal for Kassian, who sits around in the press box most of the time and gets into some game action come playoff time.
