carter is old, but still effective, but the leafs have 0 room for him. pearson needs a change of scenery. he's a rugged 20 goal scorer with speed. martinez is a top 4, and would help leafs in the short run, not the long run. bad trade for both teams imo

Pearson is a great nebtime 20 goal scorer who has fallen off a cliff, not rolling the dice on him turning back into Conner brown or Zach Hyman.... who we already have one of each. Carter and Martinez are old and will decline. None of this works for our cap or the team direction.

Check your facts before posting. Pearson is 26, not 24. He has only scored 20+ once in his career. He is not better than Brown or Hyman.
