If we're taking on Backes we'd want it to be worth our while. I don't know a whole lot about Zboril or Heinen, but that Backes contract is not good...

Yeah I know but heinen is a easy possible top 6 two way zboril was supposed to be a top 4 d but will turn in a top6

Foligno has actually been a monster for us. I've really grown to like his game and while I don't think his contract is worth the full $2.875M I think he's easily worth over $2M. Heinen is yet another left shot (we're trading away our only right shot in our entire top 9 here) which makes our need for right shots more pronounced (Backes isn't nearly as offensive as Coyle) and if Zboril only projects to be a bottom pairing player we are pretty set there. I think we'd turn this down pretty swiftly.

Heinen had 16 goals and 47 points as a rookie. Can play either wing. Played C in college and AHL. On his last year of ELC. Zboril was 13th pick in 15 draft. Shut down LD type. Been slow to develop. Just got called up due to all the injuries.

Thank you, I think we'd pass then. That Backes contract makes this not worth our time IMO.
