Description
Just curious how you guys think these trades would look? I'm not trying to be serious here, just kinda guessing. Keep in mind that bread isnt a typical rental, he would really elevate any competing team to a whole new level.

You should edit in Trades for NYI AND NYR since he supposedly has a good chance to come to NY. Islanders would definitely include Ho Sang & co but idk about Rangers

        From Nashville:

I'd do that if we really think we would get him extended. I really like Fiala but Panarin is better and the depth it would give us would be massive in the playoffs.

I think all teams but Nashville agree pretty quickly if they can extend him

Fabbri has looked pretty dynamite in his return. What if the Blues did Blais + Kostin?

A first, a third and a prospect. Breadman is signing with the Rangers next season.

Panthers easily say no. No reason to pay that price for a rental.

First of all; there are only a small handful of teams Panarin will sign long term with. Hence, those teams are not necessarily teams that are going to play for a cup so any team other making a run, they aren't going to give up much...maybe a 1st rounder for a rental; Columbus doesn't have much leverage here.

The reality is; unless Panarin's agent talks some sense into him, he's going to sign with either NY team, either LA team or Chicago...maybe Tampa or Montreal but that's a long shot. That leaves the competing market for Panarin limited. Maybe the Islanders and Rangers have an outside chance of making a run. I'm betting Panarin goes to the Rangers or Kings and a distant 3rd Chicago then Islanders and I woudln't be surprised if Columbus gets nothing for him and it happens in the offseason.

Panarin's most likely destination is NYR then NYI, then to the california based teams. He already stated he wanted to play for a big market team and NYR have one of the Largest if not the largest markets. With the abundance of russians already on the team more will be coming in the forms of Kravtsov, sherveshkin, rykov as early as next year. NYR will give him the contract what he is looking for and as NYR have shown they have a better team than people give them credit for. Panarin already stated at the start of the season he wont accept any trades during the season as he wants to focus on hockey alone so i see columbas losing him for nothing.

Asking way to much for the future Ranger winger... all deals should be rental price unless it’s to the hawks or rangers.

I agree that I see him going to the Rangers first and foremost and agree Columbus gets nothing for him. I think Chicago has the edge over the Islanders but I'm betting his choices are in order; Rangers, Kings, Hawks, Islanders, Ducks.

probably right with chicago having better odds i really only see him going between Rangers, Chicago, Islanders, Ducks, and Florida/buffalo i forgot which one he said he wanted to play for kings are out of conentention with how poor their season is going and they will be heading into a rebuild.

That's why I think the Rangers going after any big names like Nylander is out of the cards. They are going to grab Panarin and give him the $10M x 7 deal outbidding everyone else.
