I wasn't even thinking of that. It's that the Leafs would have to offer 12m next summer in order to retain his rights. Leafs don't, so Nylander is a UFA. And this continued fascination about trading LTIRs

Nylander’s QA as palhal said would be 12m. I find it hilarious that people think the nhl operates with a handshake and a wink... what is this 1952?????
