Its still early, but not yet clear that Anaheim will be in a position to add for a deep playoff run so they might not be looking to trade young players for a guy like Nyquist, but the value is fine.

If ANA is in the hunt I think they will need another skilled Winger or C. They have depth galore in D men and could easily trade one away for their needs. I just don’t see Nyquist being part of a team that’s in rebuilding mode.

Montour isn't being traded for anyone on an expiring contract not named Panarin. He is a top-4 defenseman on what was the third-best defense last year, although goodness knows what's happened to that D this year.
