Last i checked Matt Murray did that a couple times too. Cam Ward did as well. They don’t belong on the list either. Holtby lost his starting job in the playoffs at one point. So please...just don’t. Homerism is so lame. He’s not top 5. He’s had a 3.00 GAA and .905 sv% the last 2 years. Numbers that get you benched not put on top 5 lists.

He won the cup last year is stupid fan logic. That is a team achievement.

By that logic Jay Beagle is a better center than McDavid and Kempny is better than Erik Karlsson. Stupid fan logic.

Stats is the reason.

Holtby was 54th in qualified goalies in GSAA last year. 31st this year.

58th in GAA last year 42nd this year

60th in sv% last year. 36th this year

Guess by stupid fan logic that is top 5.

Sane people say differently.

But congrats on that 3 week hot streak he had. ??

Wayne Gretzky won how many MVPs? Holds how many records? Does that make him the best player in the league today?

Cary Price has a vez and an MVP. He is not top 5 right now.

Joe Thornton has an MVP yet you left him off your top 15 center list.

Past is past. Has nothing to do with today.

Holtby is not top 5 in the league right now. Sorry. When he starts playing like the 2.20 GAA .925 sv% double digit GSAA that he has been in the past then he’d be a top 5. Goalie with his stats is closer to bottom 5.

If the defense was so bad how is it Grubby put up 2.35 .923 last year while Holtby was 3.00 .905. Grubby GSAA 10.64 Holtby -8.36. Excuses excuses. Lol. Fan boy.

When he is his normal self he is a top 5. He is not right now. Just a fact.
