Woah! Vancouver just hit huge on the lottery of life. No way is oft-injured Chris Tanev worth anything near that price.

There's no negotiating with these Leafs (clearly haha). They aren't selling off their 1st unless it's a can't miss deal, and I am not sure such thing is out there this season. Perhaps at the draft maybe. A 3rd and Calle Rosen should be more than enough to get Tanev and his contract out Vancouver, but I doubt Leafs are interested for, as a side, an oft-injured player, for anything more than that.

3rd and calle rosen? im sure the canucks could get more than that. tanev still would be a perfect piece for toronto, they dont really have a shut down defenceman, and thats what tanev can do.

It what world is does TVR deserve more minutes than Hainsey. Doesn't TVR play behind Hamilton, Pesce and Faulk at RHD? He's 2/4/ 6 points and minus three. Hainsey 3/8/ 11 points plus 15. This fascination with other teams bottom end Dmen just because they are RHD is nonsensical.

Hainsey is slow and bad at defense, TVR is not. He plays the exact same role as Hainsey on the penalty kill and he's definitely an improvement 5v5.

Yeah, and he's been putting in some time at LD too, so his 6 points is actually worse.
