Danault is a better all around player than Brassard, at a very decent cap hit. And with Pens window for cups is closing, Danault is the perfect 3rd line C to help the Pens for 1-2 more championships before Sid and Gino are done. You'de give up a 1st for 2 more cups.

Its one thing to not like a trade but calling Danault a 20 pt 4th liner is extremely idiotic. One he has played at a 40pt pace or above the last 3 seasons, two he is great defensively and can PK look at his rel corsi among other stats. He is a 40 pt 3C who is better than all of Sheahan, Brassard, Rust, etc in the pens bottom 6.
