My favourite part of this agm is that you roll point for that brutal contract and keep 4M in the bank. Give point at least 8.5m.

Do you really believe in your heart, that Palat is going way for contract for a non playoff team? And Killhorn leaves Tampa for a non playoff team, and about worse travel schedule and winter weather in the league .

Dumping cap... Not sure Tampa will have to do so, as well as Toronto and many other teams looking to be up against the salary cap next season. I'm no economist, but with the economy in the US doing as well as it's currently doing in addition to the NHL partnering with MGM Grand, this might be the right time for GM's to gamble smile on the salary cap going up quite significantly next season. Not sure if Seattle expansion money plays a part in determining the salary cap for next season, but even if it doesn't the pocket money given out to each team will make it easier for teams to front load contracts etc. I wonder if for all these reasons is why Nylander's agent refused to budge as much as Toronto may have hoped.
