Signings look do-able but as you noted the Leafs overpaid. First rounders are gold when you have a cap-crunched team. If I were CAR I would take that trade in a heartbeat.

Wow, this actually isn’t bad. Wouldn’t want to give up Johnson and be short on the left but I think it’s the only way they except it. Unless they are willing to take a pick or a different prospect.
