As a Preds fan, I would love this. I feel like Preds would probably have to add more though but what that more is I'm not sure. But raining MVP for a 20+ goal scorer in need of a change of scenery, a high rated prospect, and a 1st that will most likely be low, might not be enough for Jersey.

What makes you say this? Just curious, is this a Vesey situation where you are assuming he would want to be in the Northeast?

Hall going to Nashville for future pieces is a really good deal. The time for Nashville to win the cup is now before their window closes.

We traded his favorite player away (S. Weber) and we have an incredibly packed defensive group that will be very hard to get his shot in the NHL. I figured if we traded Ellis or Subban he'd have a better chance of signing with us but i just don't see him saying to himself "I could go UFA and go to a place where I'll have a much better chance of getting into the NHL fast OR I could go to Nashville and possibly never crack it past the rest of their defensive depth. I think i'll go the hard route."
