Description

I think these are a few interesting things. I made the "ideal" Colorado lines in my opinion, and got TVR to greatly improve the Colorado Avalanche's top 6.

About Grubauer over Varlamov; I know he's not doing very well but I am of the mind that he is simply lacking confidence. Working behind such a goalie like Varlamov might have impacted his confidence, plus his generally weak season may have had a minor impact. I think that it's best to give him a few more starts, maybe splitting time with Varlamov or at least giving Grubauer ~35 starts this season, at least. I love Varlamov, I am a huge fan of him, but I really think Gruby is the future of Colorado, and he should probably be getting more starts to improve his confidence.

I added Strome because he can play Right Wing (it is possible this change in position may help him), and even though he is playing poorly he fits better in the lineup than Gabe Bourque and I think looks good in a Colorado jersey, haha.

Additional Details:

Strome adds depth to Colorado's wing, and I feel that the change in position may help revive his so-far dead career. He also looks good in a Colorado jersey :p

Avs turn down the Rangers deal, they are not moving Kam and draft picks for a lesser player. What is with over valuing Rangers players on this site....yikes

The Barberio for TVR trade. I would be on board with that

Like the TVR trade as it gives the Avs D more balance with a RHD, pass on the NYR deal, no major improvement.
