I feel like he might leave money on the table knowing the team will be contending for years and no state taxes. I used Chiarot just as a placeholder but any UFA 3rd pairing D-man will do.

I'm not so sure that this summer and Point will be their big issue. Although I could see Johnson traded more likely cause he'll have more value to get a better return, but the real problem is the summer where Sergachev and Vasilevskiy become RFA's.. Sergachev around $6.5-$7.5 and Vasilevskiy probably north of $8M .. yikes, more pieces are gonna have to move soon

Sergachev likely a bridge deal if he plays like this year. Lots of promise not much progress this year.
