Minnesota trade is a minor underpay. Nylander isn't at his full potential anymore, Moulson is a cap dump, Guhle is good, and the 1st works too, but it isn't enough to make Minnesota part with Zucker.

Add Guhle to the Bennett trade and for goodness sake don't do the Minnesota trade. Swing a deal with Tampa for Miller next summer, who you'll get for a lot less and is on a much better contract instead.

The trade as it is doesn't work for Minnesota, if anything Buffalo would have to add another prospect or early round pick

It's a joke if it doesn't work for them.

Guhle, Nylander and a 1st is not something I'd be willing to pay for Zucker. Nylander finally looks as though he is starting to realize his potential in the AHL and he could be a big key piece next year. Guhle is certainly tradable with the emergence of pilut and how well McCabe has been playing.

I would offer Guhle, a 2019 1st (Buff) and O'regan (moulson is irrelevant as his contract is over at the end of year and if minny is trading zucker they obviously would have given up on 2019).

If Minny wouldn't do that, I would just pass on the trade all together. This is not a year where the Sabres are going to be pushing deep into the playoffs or anything like that.

With 4 1st rounder's in the next 2 years, plus a couple great wing prospects in smith and nylander I feel like the sabres are set up fantastically for the next couple of years to make some noise. No need to raid the cupboard the way Murray did.

Nylander is 20. Not many teenagers have success in the AHL, let alone injured ones.

Zucker would replace nylander as pilut has replaced guhle. He has 4 more years on his deal after this year
