I guess it would depend on how Philly views Zaitsev...as Ian Scott, Gauthier and the 4th don't carry much value in a trade.

If the Leafs have a chance to bring in a different RHD man in a separate trade, then this price is more than fair. I'd imagine Philly would be looking for a different kind of return though

This is terrible for the Leafs. Leafs need all their Dmen and to trade the dependable Zaitsev for a short term rental forward...a position that isn't needed that much is just bad for the Leafs. Plus those other pieces. Flyers won't get close to that for Simmons and his M NTC certainly limits the Flyers suitors for Simmons.

Simmonds know's he's (most likely) getting traded though, I doubt there's too many teams he wouldn't waive for for 3 months and a cup run. It's not like he's forced to sign wherever he ends up.

From a Flyers perspective this trade serves no purpose, we already have more than enough prospects and assets. We'd be better off with a late 1st round pick which we'll get off someone.
