Chara is probably retiring and don't sign Accari, get Cehlarik back. Play DeBrusk on the left and Schenn on the right, this seems to be pretty good. with the exception of MCAVOY ON A 3 YEAR 4.5M DEAL. WTH, hes getting over 6M if it is a 4 years or less deal, hes getting around 7 if 8. I would say a 2 year 7M deal is the fairest if you want to test him out if he can continue what he did. Backes is not waiving back to his old team nor does his old team want him back.

If i’m retaining on Backes the 2nd comes off the board. And if it’s in the offseason i pass altogether.

I basically agree on everything but I think signing Acciari back is smart. Good cheap depth.

I knew someone will criticise me for the McAvoy contract. He's great and I will definitely have him here long term, but the reality is, he was injured a lot in his young career and you never know... Second of all, Krug eats up the major minutes on the PP. Haven't seen much of him on the PK either. I get that 4.5 is a bit low but 7 is just too much in my opinion.

Don't know if Chara re-signs, I hope he does. Not much left of the Big Bad Bruins... I like Acciari tho.

The STL trade is fair imo. They don't get the best prospects, but they have decisions to make. More than 2M retained on Backes is not too bad for STL.

very very true, but roaster spots tho... we already have 23, we're going to have to throw him on waivers, hes almost certainly going to get claimed... I really like Acciari's game but... no spots for him, unless in the minors.

I fully agree about Mac. Just 2 years would be better and at a higher price, or we can take advantage of that by not signing him until Sept. Its a way to manipulate the system... I know we want bigger stronger bodies but there are no spots for him... Cehlarik is 100% NHL ready and he is going to want to go for the NHL. He is only 23 and is going to become a better player. Don't get me wrong, I really like Acciari but... It would be really hard to see him go if it was so. STL trade looks fair, just that I don't think they want Backes back... Maybe it will work? maybe it won't but anyways, Backes probably won't want to go back... I like how you really lowered the value of Schenn because he isn't looking to crack 50 points this year and every blues fans think that he is a 70 point player, gotta credit you on that. Great job overall, I don't know how the roaster next year would look though, lets see what Sweeney has to offer us (hopefully not another Backes or Belesky deal...)
