Description

The Oilers need as many top 6 forwards that they can get and the only trade chip that will get them that is Draisaitl. Brodziak, Gravel and Montoya are just to make the money close to even, St. Louis can do whatever they want with them.

Right player, just the wrong team. I have been working on a proposal using Draisatil: sending him to the Rangers for Hayes and Vesey.

Simply put, the Oilers need a second line. If McDavid isn't going to be moved, then I can see Draisatil being moved to obtain the scoring depth needed to compete both in the division and the conference.

My proposal:

EDM gets:

Hayes, Vesey, Gropp and '20 1st.

NYR gets:

Draisatil

Simple idea..allows the Oilers to gain cap space and add depth; gives the Rangers the top-line skillful forward they've craved for years.
