its fair cause of including Lucic, otherwise would throw in all the draft picks for the next decade. But getting rid of Lucic cancels that out.

My only question is why would Duchene want to sign an extension in another dysfunctional place?

There is no return that is good enough for McDavid. Oiler fans are seriously panicking if they want to trade this guy.

not judging the value at all.. but the funniest and most unlikely thing about this is the thought of Eugene Melnyk paying McDavid $12.5M a year AND Lucic at $6M a year.. he's too cheap for even that so the deal gets shot down
