Leafs should say yes to this deal. Blues definitely say no.

Parayko is to the Blues what Rielly is the the Leafs. Young top pairing d-man on a good contract. RIelly has a higher offensive acumen and Parayko more defensive. I don't think we'd be interested in taking a bottom pairing d-man who's overpaid by $1m, a late first round pick, a good prospect and a young top 6 winger for Morgan.

Even if the Blues go full re-build mode...you keep a Parayko unless the offer is too good to pass up.

I would do that. Suffer a bit with the offense next year then once Marleau is done and the cap goes sign another big winger.

To be fair...a lot if Leaf land like Sandin as the better prospect but him and Liljegren kind of even as far as trade value. In fact...most would prefer to do Liljegren, Kapanen and the 1st for Parayko.

I still think that's a bad deal for the Blues tho

Seeing as there are many mixed opinions that may mean the trade is even just neither team wants to move the pieces involved. From where I stand, this would be very worth it for Toronto since I personally believe Parayko is a top 10 defenseman. Imagine him playing with Rielly, and offensive and a defensive young top of the line defenseman would be unreal

haha...I don't need to imagine...I go back to the world cup when Rielly and Parayko were the top pairing d-line for team North America and I fell in love at that time.

So...value wise might be close for Parayko...but why would St. Louis bother unless the offer knocks their socks off?

I personally believe it's time to trade away Pietrangelo I don't feel like getting rid of Parayko at the moment he has been one of my personal favorite players since we drafted him back in 2012.

I’ve always liked Parayko but didn’t really watch much of him until this season and he’s truly incredible
