They can take on Faulk, especially since Ferland will be a 1 year rental. Faulk under contract until next year. The retention could be put onto Faulk instead (maybe 500k/year) or something. That was done on Ferland mainly to give the Bolts cap flexibility this year for bonuses and call-ups/downs. No chance Callahan waives (16 team) NMC for Carolina (or has Carolina on his list of teams).

Not bad trade .. I tend to think Tampa should keep Miller for his versatility.. all 3 forward positions and all 4 line options. I would rather move Gourde Killorn Johnson or Palat instead of Miller.. all have VERY similar contracts and 1 needs to go for Poijt signing
